🎀 Excerpt from the book [Advice to Muslim Women] نصيحتي للنساء

Ûmm 'Abdillal Al-Wadi'yyah حفظها الله said:

"They, the Sahabiyyat, learned the science & the ahadith of the Prophet and memorized them as conscientiously as men in order to be well-guided and virtuous guides, keys opening the doors of good and closing those of evil.

Indeed, no act of worship can be performed properly without religious knowledge.

And religious science is the best of worships in absolute terms.

This is what was stated by a learned and ascetic woman, namely Umm Ad-Darda رحمها الله, who said:

"I sought to worship Allah by all lawful means and I found nothing more wholesome for my soul than to sit with the scholars and benefit from their knowledge."

We need so many women like this nowadays, namely women who are educators, scholars, deserving and ascetic."
