The History and the History of Matn Al-Ghayāh wa Tāqrib , by Al-Qādi Abu Shûja', is one of the most famous mutun of jurisprudence according to the Shaffi'ite school , it is a concise matn which will be largely sufficient for the beginner of this school.

Included in it are: chapters of worship [such as purification, prayer, fasting, sacrifice…] and of mu'amalates [on the relations of men among themselves, such as trade, marriage, crimes…].
